Week 14
Technology is change everyday, with the new improvements in tech everyday teachers are able to teach more to all three of the learning styles. Because of the new technologies that are coming out everyday a teacher can easily teach to two if not all three of the learning styles in one lesson. With these improvements students should be able to learn better and retain more information.
Week 13
Word: font changes, font size changes, headers, bold, underline, and italics.
-Type a hand written poem, centered in the page, about the student's favorite color.
Powerpoint: word art, inserting pictures, backgrounds, transitions, bold, underline, and italics.
-Create a powerpoint on the student's favorite animal.
Excel: grids, adding, subtracting, and creating graphs.
-Create a grid of the number of each color in a pack of M&M's, create a pie graph from this data with colors matching the colors of the M&M's.

Week 12
In the article that I found by Dr. Robert J. Marzan he reviewed the use of the ActivBoard in schools. During a review of a few different schools he look at the negatives and the positives of the ActivBoard. Overall it seemed that he was in favor of the boards, from the information I found out I would like to have one of these boards in my classroom.

He does not seem to mind to give his 2 cents on any matter of education, hence the name of the blog. Lastly he travels to many different educational conferences and give his experience of of these conferences. The entry that I have commented on was about teaching technology to students.

Week 10

In this article domains of learning are looked at. The first domain is Cognitive learning, students learn mental skills, this is known as knowledge. Students are expected to understand knowledge, comprehension, application analysis, synthesis, evaluation. The next domain is Affective learning, students learn to grow in feelings and emotionally, this is known as Attitude. Students are expected to receiving phenomea, responding to phenomena, valuing, organization, and internalizing values. The last domain is pyschomotor, students learn through manual or physical skills, this is also known as skills. Students are expected to understand perception, set, guided response, mechanism, complex overt response, adaption, and origination.

Reflection on Tech 7
Many students are able to take concepts that are being taught in the class and simplifying the concepts down into language that the students will understand. This can be used to a teacher's advantage, by having students, maybe one student per a week take a concept that many of the students - but not the student creating the video - are having difficulty grasping and make a video explaining the concept to the other students. The student who made the video can than upload it to either a private youtube account or a class blog - after being approved by the the teacher- so that the other students can understand. This can help the students that do not quite understand the concept by putting into words that they understand.
Week 9
Bob Sprankle does have some good ideas such as recording a students dreams and goals at the beginning of the year and also at the end of the year, using the camera to give extra instruction, and also recording clips for parent teacher conference and the conferences in general. Sparnkle's idea of using the camera to bridge the gap between test score and actual intelligence would help the many students who are bad test takers. Some of the uses that Sparnkle has for the camera seem like it would be for the very involved parents. I know from my experience growing up that my parents did care what I learned in school, but they would not want to watch a video of my completing math problems.
